Installation in a variety of media – painting, drawing, knitting, sculpture, paper-cuts and sound – exploring the myth of the European winter.
The works assembled by curators Monika Bobinska, Debbie Booth and Brad Clark reflect the mood and concerns of a season as a state of mind and imagination, and of a season under threat.
Artists in Wintry include Su Blackwell, who is creating this year's Christmas window display at Harvey Nichols, Sophie Horton, who has been short-listed for this year's Jerwood Drawing Prize, and Adam King, whose work was recently purchased by Charles Saatchi.
